Train like a beast….what does that mean? Each session you get better than YOU were the last one. It doesn’t matter where you started it only matters that YOU got better than YOU were before. Even if you don’t see the progress keep going. Seeing someone with a rock-hard body, endurance for days, very agile, and super strong, they worked very hard to get that. They did not just wake up like that. I know everyone wants to walk around like, “I didn’t sweat for this!” But in reality, they did. Some people just have been doing it longer, so to them, it’s not a big deal. GOALS; each session is working out, challenge yourself! I don’t care if its 1 pound more or 1 foot farther, get better. Some days it is easier said than done. Here are 3 easy tips to start killing your workouts:

TIP #1:

Give yourself consequences like for example: “If I don’t give 100% in my morning workout I must come back and do it again later that night.” (Hold yourself accountable). After one or two sessions of holding yourself accountable, you will work harder than the first time. Only you know your effort. What may be a warm-up for some, it is a challenging workout for others. Just be completely transparent with yourself and when you leave the gym, leave everything you had each time you work out.

TIP #2:

In my opinion, the biggest thing that will propel your training to the next level without a trainer is writing the workouts down on a piece of paper or on your phone before you go to the gym. Stick to what you have written. Whatever you write down on that paper, whether it’s a 20-minute jog or 50 lunges and squats, DO IT. If it’s not enough when you get there, then add more after it is complete. If not, get a trainer who will push you past your limits.

TIP #3:

Do not stop going, even when you don’t see results! Everyone thinks that “oh, I should be so much better after 3 weeks” no one wants to wait for the change to happen. They then go back to what they were doing before they started training; nothing. For sure that will get you back to where you started. Show up every day with specific intentions, some days it is way more comfortable than others but just KEEP GOING!

Implement these three simple tips to take your body and training to the next level. Over time, results will come. Be patient to allow your body to make a change. You can become stronger, leaner, faster, jump higher and more agile if you stick to it. Unfortunately, this is a process, but it’s a process that can propel you into success if you make the active choice to keep showing up and keep doing the work to the best of YOUR ability.
